Favourite activity - Hang out with friends

My friends and I like to do new things and explore new places so we often go on long walks to different parts of the city so we can see the variety of places. And because of the COVID circumstances, we have been sitting outside on each other's porches for the past little while.

Favourite place - Iceland or England

I have been to Iceland twice before and it is definitely one of my favourite places to travel. It is a very unique country and has so much history and culture within it. As I prefer the cooler, gloomy climates, England is also one of my favourite places to travel. Most of my family lives in England so I like to visit them often.

Favourite colour - Green

Since green is a pretty neutral tone, I like that it can add a bit of colour without being too flashy. It's earthy hue is really nice and goes with a lot of outfits and colour schemes as well. It also reminds me of spring and warmth and as winter has just recently ended, it's a good time for green.

Favourite drink - Coffee

COVID-19: Reflections on a PANDEMIC YEAR

Before the pandemic I think I took a lot of things for granted. Even small things like going to school and being around big crowds. I really enjoy school because I can see my friends and learn new things and be around people. I also did a lot of volunteer work that required being around people. I did things like help out at summer camps with a church group and working big events. I also traveled a lot as it is one of my favourite things to do.

Before the pandemic, the last place I had traveled to was England in the summer, to visit my family as they all live there. Some other places I've been are Peru, South Africa, Thailand, Italy, Iceland, Norway, and once it is safe to do so again, I hope to travel back to some of these places and even new ones like France and Australia.

In the past year since the pandemic has started, I have begun to realize and appreciate more things. I feel since I have lost so much time to COVID, I should try to make the most out of everything. At school, I have joined a new club called NT Stands Up, which is a social justice club dedicated to bringing awareness to important issues.

I look forward to contributing more to this club as I feel it is very important. To pass time nowadays, I like to go on walks with my friends and explore new places. Since we can't be inside together, I think it's a good idea to do thing outdoors.

In the future, I do hope to go back to school full time. I'd really like to be able to experience my senior year with some normalcy as I've been looking forward to it for a really long time. I'm hopeful I will be able to visit university campuses this fall as well so I can get a good idea of where it is I want to go for school.

This summer, I have applied for a job at a day camp for biking. I look forward to this because it's my first job and I am excited to work with kids and get some more experience.
